CHILDREN in Needham Market are today celebrating the completion of their £60,000 school refit and expansion.

A new library, reception classroom and computer suite have been added to Bosmere Primary School, along with a splash of colour throughout.

Deputy head Sarah Rees said: "We're extremely pleased with it and it has opened up so many exciting opportunities for the children.

"The computer suite is where the library used to be. This allows us to keep all the computers together so we can have lessons in there."

The project, due to be officially unveiled this week, is the biggest ever undertaken in the 21-year history of the 230-strong school.

Murals have been added to many of the walls, with the finishing touches now added after many months of construction work.

A week of celebration will follow the unveiling, with many local public figures invited to view the finished article.
