PETS of all shapes and sizes - from stick insects to ponies, not forgetting a cuddly lion - spent the day at school with their owners as Orwell Park held a special animal day.

Fr Peter McLeod-Miller led a special animal service and brought some of his own creatures to add to the atmosphere.

As well as cats and dogs, some of the youngsters in the pre-prep department of the school took more exotic pets which helped bring colour and character to the day.
