A 10-year-old girl was threatened with a knife close to a Suffolk school.
The incident happened near Stowmarket Middle School at around 3.50pm on Thursday .
The girl was crossing the footpath between Walnut Tree Walk and Finborough Road and heading in the direction of Childer Road when she was approached by a teenager who took hold of her, demanded money and produced a knife.
He ran off as a car approached.
The attacker was white and aged around 16. He was around 5ft 8ins and was wearing a blue Nike hooded top, black trousers and trainers. He had stubble on his chin and a low voice.
