OFFICERS investigating the stabbing death of a 24-year-old Londoner and a triple shooting were today searching for clues around Zest nightclub in Ipswich.
Teams of officers began scouring the streets and a car park near to the club in Princes Street from about 10am today.
The search was then due to move inside the club.
Cordons remained in place in Princes Street, Grafton Way, Commercial Road and parts of West End Road this morning, leading to heavy traffic congestion in the town centre. They have now been lifted.
The dead man was found outside the club suffering from a single stab wound at about 2.15am yesterday. He died later in Ipswich Hospital.
Three men suffered gunshot wounds and another was stabbed within the space of a few hours of the fatal stabbing.
Police said the incidents are being treated separately.
