Search for Ipswich burglar who was chased from a house by the victim and his dog

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Chatsworth Drive, Ipswich.

The incident took place on November 25 around 5.10pm. Someone entered the property through a back door into the kitchen.

The residents of the house discovered the suspect who then ran out via the front door.

The victim and his dog chased after the suspect who then got into a car which was parked on Chatsworth Drive and drove off at speed into Bixley Drive.

The vehicle is described as being a small, possibly silver, hatchback car.

The suspect is described as being 6 foot tall of slim build, was wearing a grey hooded top, dark tracksuit trousers and white plimsolls/trainers.

Witnesses or anyone who may have any information should contact Suffolk police on 101.
