POLICE are today appealing for help in tracing a 27-year-old man who went missing from a ship berthed at Felixstowe.Abdul Muthalib Bilalmagar Aboobackar vanished from the port about 8.
POLICE are today appealing for help in tracing a 27-year-old man who went missing from a ship berthed at Felixstowe.
Abdul Muthalib Bilalmagar Aboobackar vanished from the port about 8.15pm on Saturday February 23 and has not been seen or heard from since.
He had worked on the ship as a crew member since October last year and has no known associates in Felixstowe.
Mr Aboobackar is described by his colleagues as a valued crew member and they say it is out of character for him not to have returned to the ship.
He was last seen leaving the port complex via the pedestrian exist near the Seafarers' Centre on Carr Road.
He is of Asian appearance and is an Indian national.
