POLICE have stepped up their search for a vulnerable Woodbridge pensioner who has been missing for three weeks.

New posters are being put up around the riverside town in a bid to gather new information about the disappearance of 73-year-old Anthony Smith.

He was last seen at Beech Way around 4.45pm on Thursday June 5.

Despite extensive searches, appeals and inquiries to trace him there have been no positive sightings of him since.

Mr Smith has several conditions which require regular medication and from the start of the inquiry there were grave concerns for his well being.

Mr Smith is described as white, 5ft 11ins tall and of proportionate build.

He has short grey hair, brown eyes and at the time of his disappearance was wearing a navy blue jumper with a tan coloured motif on the left side of the chest and navy trousers.
