ONE of the best variety shows in the region is set to return to Felixstowe following its success last summer.

The Spa Pavilion will host four performances of the Cromer Seaside Special in early autumn.

Theatre manager Julie Howes said: “Seaside Special left its home on Cromer Pier for the first time in 35 years last year and following the success of its short visit to Spa Pavilion in October I am delighted to say that it will be returning to the venue in September.”

This year's spectacular will feature musicians, singers, dancers, comedians and a magician.

Lead vocalists will be Victoria Scott and Aston Dobson, and one of the big highlights will be an appearance from Andy Eastwood, who has been a regular on stage in the West End as well as at music festivals in Europe.

Ms Howes said: “Andy's specialities are the ukulele-banjo, violin and guitar, and in a lively, refreshing act, he combines vocal and instrumental artistry with personality and humour, bringing to life songs of all kinds.”

Simmons and Simmons - a father and son comedy double act - will provide the laughs, while 16-year-old Luke Cook will add a magic touch.

Luke, winner of the recent Norfolk Find a Star competition, is a self taught magician who at the age of six set his heart on becoming a professional magician and entertainer.

The shows will take place on Friday September 25 and Saturday September 26 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
