Ipswich Star and East Anglian Daily Times’ local government correspondent, Paul Geater, is celebrating after scooping the jackpot on hit BBC game show Pointless.
Paul appeared on the teatime show yesterday evening alongside daughter Charlotte, where the pair put their knowledge to the test.
The pair demonstrated their broad knowledge covering scientific terms, countries, food and wildlife to make it through to the final.
They opted to choose London train stations from the final four categories thanks to Paul’s love of trains and Charlotte’s knowledge having lived in London.
The pair chose Stratford High Street as one of their three answers – which emerged as a pointless answer to secure them the healthy £5,000 jackpot alongside the pair of Pointless trophies they had already snared.
