A SERIOUS assault took place just metres from the scene of an attempted rape in Ipswich, police have revealed today.The attack happened in the early hours of Sunday morning in Grove Lane, Ipswich and left a 21-year-old man with head injuries and injuries to his arm.
A SERIOUS assault took place just metres from the scene of an attempted rape in Ipswich, police have revealed today.
The attack happened in the early hours of Sunday morning in Grove Lane, Ipswich and left a 21-year-old man with head injuries and injuries to his arm.
The incident happened less than two hours after an attempted rape in the same area in which a 47-year-old woman was forced to the ground in St Helen Street and had her dress cut with a knife.
Police are to investigate whether there are any links between the two attacks.
