FIREFIGHTERS in Essex tackled a serious blaze at a vehicle repair workshop today.
Fire crews from Chelmsford, Baddow, Ingatestone, Witham and Chelmsford were called to the fire on the Widford Industrial Estate in Chelmsford at 4.25am.
When the first two fire appliances arrived at the scene they reported that there was a large fire affecting the building and called for three more appliances to be ordered to help.
At the height of the blaze more than 25 firefighters were working to bring the fire under control.
The fire was put out by 6am and at 6.30am two appliances remained at the scene damping down.
