A CAR and a bus have collided in Essex today.
The crash happened at about 10am outside Canvey fire station in Long Road, Canvey.
Fire crews raised the alarm after seeing the accident, described by a spokesperson for Essex Fire and Rescue Service as “serious.”
A car and a single-decker bus were involved in the incident and fire crews screened the scene and provided support to police and ambulance paramedics on site.
The accident happened at the junction with Fairlop Avenue. Long Road has now been closed between Rose Road and Furtherwick Road and may remain closed for some time.
The spokesperson for the Essex fire service said at the moment they have no information relating to casualties, injuries or the number of people involved.
