A youngster from Ipswich is hoping to become a star of the future after successfully featuring in her first modelling campaign for a national retailer.
Three-year-old Daisie Lucas has made her debut high-profile campaign appearance in the latest Argos catalogue, cuddling up to the Chad Valley Slouchy Dog the youngster affectionately named ‘Patch.’
And after enjoying her experience for the Argos catalogue, the young starlet is keen to do some more.
Grandmother Liz Beaumont, 50, said: “She did the first one in September for some video and then the photo shoot was in October in Milton Keynes.
“We are so proud of her and she loved every minute of it – there are not many children in Ipswich who do it, but we are not pushy at all, she does it because she wants to.”
Daisie began working with the Y2K Promotions agency in August, working on a number of castings before her big Argos break, and the family is now waiting to hear back at the end of the month as to where she will feature next.
In the meantime, Daisie’s star will be continuing to shine at nursery, and at the Pauline Quirke Academy in Ipswich, where she was picked up early for her confidence and stage presence.
