DISGRUNTLED Robert Brander has been gagged after launching a hate campaign against his former dentist.
The 64-year-old made Dr David Burton's life hell over the last few years, said Gareth Davies, prosecuting at South East Suffolk Magistrates Court.
The court heard Brander developed a fixation with the dentist and distributed defamatory leaflets against him.
Some of the leaflets made references to convicted murderer Dr Harold Shipman.
Sentencing Brander to a three-month suspended sentence, District Judge Reed said: "I think this is probably one of the worst cases of harassment I have ever heard." He also gave Brander a restraining order to leave Dr Burton alone.
