A POLISH asylum seeker claiming to be racially persecuted in his own country is awaiting sentence for shoplifting.
Marek Wesolowski admitted stealing goods worth £783.61 from Asda in Ipswich, South East Suffolk Magistrates were told.
Chairman of the magistrates, Bob Skinner, ordered reports before sentencing on July 15.
