Now’s your chance to dance the night away at the museum, by moving to the beat at a silent disco event.
Move the mammoth and lock up the rhino to take part in the disco with a difference at Ipswich Museum, taking place on Saturday, May 19.
Don’t like the same music as your friends? That’s not a problem, because at a flick of a switch you’ll be able to change what you’re listening to, through a set of wireless headphones.
You will receive a set of headphones on entry, but not a normal set, as these have two channels. Organisers have teamed up with some local musical talent to make your channel choices as tough as possible.
There are three separate events for different age groups. The evening will start off with a family disco from 5.30 to 7.30pm, followed by a disco for ages 14-19 from 7 to 9pm and an 18-plus event, including a cash bar, from 9.30 to 11pm. For more details and to book, visit the website.
