FORMER Town manager Sir Bobby Robson is back today raising money for Ipswich Hospital.

The ex England manager, who led Ipswich to FA cup victory in 1978, will be the star guest at a golf day at Seckford Golf Centre hoping to raise thousands for the Sir Bobby Robson Jubilee appeal.

The fund, launched by Ipswich Hospital's League of Friends, aims to raise £55,000 to buy new equipment for consultant Hum Davies who Sir Bobby credits with saving his life by diagnosing him with cancer in 1995.

Sir Bobby, now manager of Newcastle United, will join golfers on the course for the event which was teeing-off at 10.25am.
