SIX people are today recovering after a car overturned on the Orwell Bridge.The accident happened shortly after 9.30pm last night, and led to all six being taken to hospital in a fleet of ambulances.

The accident happened shortly after 9.30pm last night, and led to all six being taken to hospital in a fleet of ambulances.

All of the victims were described as “walking wounded” by ambulance service officials. Three of those involved in the accident were children.

The Freelander, seven-seater car left the Felixstowe bound carriageway on the Wherstead side of the bridge at 9.35pm.
