Smash at Ashbocking

TRAFFIC on the B1078 at Ashbocking was brought to a halt after a two-vehicle smash.

The incident, which involved one heavy goods vehicle and a white transit van, happened at 7am today.

The incident, which involved one heavy goods vehicle and a white transit van, happened at 7am today.

No one was injured in the accident, which was attended by three fire crews, two ambulances, one rapid response vehicle and two police cars.

The driver of the transit van was taken to hospital as a precaution, although both drivers walked free from the wreckage.

The road was blocked after the incident, with traffic diverted through Hemingstone and Bell's Cross.
