A SOLDIER has been arrested in connection with the assault of a man in Norwich city centre.The 30-year-old victim is in Addenbrooke's Hospital in a critical condition with head injuries following an incident outside Sing Sing in Prince of Wales Road at around 1am yesterday.
A SOLDIER has been arrested in connection with the assault of a man in Norwich city centre.
The 30-year-old victim is in Addenbrooke's Hospital in a critical condition with head injuries following an incident outside Sing Sing in Prince of Wales Road at around 1am yesterday.
Daniel Christopher Gooda, of Combermere Barracks, Windsor, has been charged with one count of GBH, one count of affray and one count of common assault. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Magistrates court on Monday morning.
An 18-year-old man, from the Long Stratton area, who was arrested, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries. A 19-year-old man from the Norwich area has been released with no further action being taken.
