A SUFFOLK soldier's body has been returned to the UK after he died in a tragic accident in Afghanistan.Lance Corporal George Davey, 23, from Beccles, of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment, died in a firearms accident on the British base at Sangin in Helmand Province, on May 20.

Lance Corporal George Davey, 23, from Beccles, of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment, died in a firearms accident on the British base at Sangin in Helmand Province, on May 20.
His great uncle, Peter Copple, of Kingsley Close, Ipswich, has demanded an inquiry into to the death.
There was a fly-past at RAF Lyneham, Wilts, at 3pm yesterday, when the body arrived in the UK, which was followed by a private repatriation ceremony.
