Sort out this heart fiasco, Mr Johnson!
STOP this madness now.
STOP this madness now.
That is our clarion call to Alan Johnson today as we intensify our efforts to overhaul the irresponsible decision to brutally cut heart attack services at Ipswich Hospital.
In a powerful open letter to the health secretary, The Evening Star is demanding the government intervene.
We say that only after full consultation can a decision as crucial as this be made.
Ipswich is undergoing unprecedented growth. A new university, dozens of major housing developments and a burgeoning business community have transformed the town in recent years.
How then, can health bosses sanction a move which will undoubtedly weaken Ipswich Hospital?
