A LIFEBOAT was called out after a speedboat suffered engine failure.The speedboat, which had two people on board, suffered engine failure off Havergate Island, River Alde, at about 3.40pm yesterday.

A lifeboat was launched from Aldburgh and was towed to Slaughden Quay.
