Sproughton Road Ipswich closed due to flooding after heavy rainfall with one man rescued from car

Sproughton Road, in Ipswich, is currently closed due to a blocked drain.
Police closed the road earlier this evening and it is set to reopen later tonight.
A blocked drain is causing substantial water flooding outside the Volkswagen dealership on the road.
A fire crew attended to rescue a man from his car, who became stuck at about 8pm.
Two fire engines were also called to flooding in Mannnings pub on Cornhill, Ipswich, as a result of the rain. They were required to pump water out of the building.
