Jack N Jill Preschool’s “enthusiastic and motivated” staff have been praised by Ofsted inspectors after the establishment maintained its Good rating.

The Stonelodge Community Centre-based school in Hawthorn Drive was inspected in May, and was rated Good in all areas.

The report published last week said: “Staff use what they know about the children to plan interesting and stimulating activities that are rooted in their interests,” and added: “The pre-school is organised effectively to continuously improve the provision and provide a good quality of care and education for the children.

“Staff work well together as an enthusiastic and motivated team.”

To continue improving, inspector Jacqueline Mason said the school should urge parents to share details on their child’s learning at home, continuing enhancing teaching skills and extend existing measures for staff evaluation.
