Stockport: Case against nurse over deaths at Stepping Hill Hospital dropped

Prosecutors have dropped the case against 27-year-old Rebecca Leighton, who was charged with contaminating saline at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport, the Crown Prosecution Service said today.
The Crown Prosecution Service said it was ‘no longer appropriate’ to continue the case against Rebecca Leighton who was charged with contaminating saline drips at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport.
