EMERGENCY services were called to Crown Street, in Stowmarket, today where a serious road accident had occurred.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance was in attendance to deal with casualties from the three-car pile-up which happened at 12.55pm.
Police were warning drivers to avoid the area and although could not confirm how many casualties there are said it was very serious.
