SUFFOLK police have today named a man who died from gunshot wounds in Stowmarket on Friday.The man has been named as Brian Sylvester Smith.Mr Smith, who was 68, died following a three hour siege outside his home in Thackeray Grove, Stowmarket.
SUFFOLK police have today named a man who died from gunshot wounds in Stowmarket on Friday.

Mr Smith, who was 68, died following a three hour siege outside his home in Thackeray Grove, Stowmarket.
Armed officers were called to the house at 5pm following reports that a man was threatening to harm himself.
An investigation into Mr Smith's death is underway.
