FIRE crews were today called to Hadleigh Road, in Sproughton where ten bales of straw had caught alight.Nine firefighters in two engines attended the scene at 7am where the bales, situated near to The Beagle pub, were allowed to burn out by themselves.

Nine firefighters in two engines attended the scene at 7am where the bales, situated near to The Beagle pub, were allowed to burn out by themselves.
The fire was put out by 8.33am.
