A “truly special” celebration of the Queen’s birthday was held at a Suffolk primary school for the whole community to enjoy.
The event on Friday at Bramford Church of England Primary School was organised by the Home School Association and featured food, traditional games, a Queen impersonator, a town crier and more. Emma Burgess, head of school at Bramford, said: “We had this wonderful mix of old and young coming together. There was a real buzz among the children, they thoroughly enjoyed celebrating something really important and special.”
Also attending the street party were parents; reverends and elders from St Mary the Virgin Church; and both parish and district councillors.
