Strong winds close port terminal

HEAVY winds forced the closure of Felixstowe port's Trinity Terminal today.

Police issued warnings to motorists using the A14 to be aware of a build up of heavy goods lorries following the temporary closure.

Police issued warnings to motorists using the A14 to be aware of a build up of heavy goods lorries following the temporary closure.

They advised drivers to use the Trimley turn-off from the A14 to avoid congestion.
