DISGRACED Felixstowe GP Dr Charles Burnham-Slipper has withdrawn his appeal against his suspension from the medical register.

The 63-year-old was struck off after he was found guilty of professional misconduct at a hearing in London of the General Medical Council in May.

The charges included failing to refer five of his patients who feared they were suffering from cancer to specialists and he was criticised for keeping medical records at home.
