Students and staff from One sixth form took to the stage last week to raise vital funds to feed back into their music department.
Around 250 guests watched a variety of solo and group performances by music and performing arts students at the Ipswich sixth form in Scrivener Drive.
Spectators were treated to a set of festive songs including Last Christmas and The Fairytale of New York as well as covers of Skinny Love by Bon Iver and a showstopper from The Lion King by the year 12 BTEC performing arts class.
Vice principal, Jenny Milsom said: “This whole event gave a glimpse of some of the amazing talent that we have at One – well done to all concerned.”
The event raised almost £1000 which will be used to buy new musical equipment for current and future students to use.
