This week’s iWitness weekly challenge was architecture, with entries capturing the stunning interiors of churches in Suffolk and the iconic Buttermarket Shopping Centre in Ipswich, and even a wooden structure in Walberswick.

From the docks of Ipswich to Suffolk’s parks and churches, the design and structure of buildings can take years of planning.

The theme created several excellent photo opportunities across the county, and further afield - with one entry being submitted of Conwy Castle in Wales.

We had some excellent submissions, but the winner this week is Barry Pullen who captured the arching interior of Ely Cathedral.

Next week’s challenge is water.

As the warm weather begins to creep in, hopefully it won’t just be rain clouds and puddles that we see on iWitness. Anything from swimming pools and beaches to goggles and snorkels could be included - so think creatively, and happy snapping!
