The event took place at the Millennium Jubilee Hall and field yesterday, and featured community groups, musicians and sports teams showing what the town has to offer, and giving people the chance to have a go or take part in games and activities.

People also had a chance to share their thoughts on what should be in the town’s new neighbourhood plan.

The day aimed to celebrate the best of the town and its community spirit, and followed on from the success of the Queen’s Birthday event there last year.

Neal Beecroft-Smith, chairman of Kesgrave Town Council, said: “Kesgrave is a growing town with established and newer parts, events like this are excellent for bringing everyone together to celebrate what is good about living and working here.”
