Households on eight roads in the Nacton area of Ipswich were left will brimming bins after Ipswich Borough Council were unable to empty them.
The bins in the area are usually emptied on Wednesdays, but refuse teams were unable to get round every street on the route.
In a post on Facebook, Ipswich Borough Council said: “We were unable to empty all of the bins in Trent Road, Derwent Road, Hilton Road, Campbell Road, Murray Road, Hatfield Road, Sandy Hill Lane and part of Felixstowe Road.
“If your bin has not been emptied, please leave it out and we will collect it tomorrow. We apologise for any inconvenience.”
You can find out what day your bins are due to be empties on the council website.
