Firefighters were called shortly after 10.15am with reports of a “smell of smoke” at Ipswich Coroner’s Court at Beacon House in Whitehouse Road.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the court was evacuated while firefighters located and extinguished a blaze in an air conditioning unit.
