Suffolk is set for a slight dip in temperatures compared to the last few days of stifling heat.

Today will remain mostly dry, with very warm sunny spells inland, while coastal areas will feel a lot cooler with an onshore breeze.

There may even be an isolated light afternoon shower towards Essex, according to the Met Office, which said temperatures would reach highs of 25C noticeably cooler than the 31C highs of the weekend.

Tonight will be dry, with clear spells and patchy amounts of cloud. Winds light to moderate from the north or northeast. Temperatures will still be pleasantly warm inland tomorrow – but feeling cooler than recently, especially on the coast.

The rest of the week looks rather cloudy at times, with sunny spells and isolated afternoon showers.
