A MAN has been arrested today in connection with the death of a Suffolk pensioner.The 32-year-old was arrested at lunchtime and is currently being interviewed by police officers involved in the case.

A MAN has been arrested today in connection with the death of a Suffolk pensioner.
The 32-year-old was arrested at lunchtime and is currently being interviewed by police officers involved in the case.
The latest developments come after a man, believed to be in his 70s, was found dead in an upstairs bedroom of his home in Haward Street, Lowestoft.
Bernard Thomassen was discovered at 4am yesterday.
A post mortem examination was conducted a few hours later at the James Paget Hospital, in Gorleston, by Home Officer pathologist Dr Michael Heath who revealed that death was due to multiple injuries.
The man being quizzed by police lives in Lowestoft and was arrested in the town.
