A MURDER investigation is under way today after Suffolk police found the bodies of a young boy, a man and a woman.The boy and the man were discovered in the river beneath the Orwell Bridge early today.

A MURDER investigation is under way today after Suffolk police found the bodies of a young boy, a man and a woman.

The boy and the man were discovered in the river beneath the Orwell Bridge early today.

An abandoned car was also found on the bridge by police.

Officers went to the home of the registered owner and found the body of a woman with stab wounds.

Another boy, who was alive, was also found at the address in Seckford Close, Rushmere St Andrew.

The area is now taped off and being treated as a crime scene.

Friends of the family are looking after the boy.

The coroner has been informed and the post mortem examinations were taking place in Ipswich Hospital today.

Suffolk police were alerted to the tragedies after receiving reports of the abandoned car around 3.45am today.

The police found the bodies of the man and boy while searching the area with the help of the coastguard.
