More than 50 students across four departments from Suffolk New College are collaborating for a two-night live music event at Ipswich Town Hall.
Tracfest aims to promote local musical talent as part of the students’ extended diploma ‘Live Event’ project.
Working as one big production company, learners from media, music technology, music performance and performing arts will stage the event on February 3 and 4, showcasing bands from the college as well as professional acts from across Ipswich. There will be lights, visual effects and a live radio station running in the background.
Tracfest is entirely managed, promoted and crewed by the students themselves, with the tutors supporting and guiding as executive producers.
Tickets are free and available at: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/tracfest-tickets-20966866462
