Suffolk pensioner robbed in the street

LOWESTOFT police are today appealing for witnesses after a 64-year-old woman was robbed.

The pensioner was walking along Hollow Grove Way at about 8.10pm on Sunday when a woman grabbed her handbag and ran off.

The pensioner was walking along Hollow Grove Way at about 8.10pm on Sunday when a woman grabbed her handbag and ran off.

The robber removed the victim's purse and discarded the bag before fleeing with about £40 worth of cash as well as cards.

The robber is described as white, aged in her early 20s, 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build and with shoulder length straight dyed blonde hair.
