Delays expected on A14 as police escort abnormal load to Suffolk marina

A large boat is expected to cause delays for drivers over the weekend while it is transported by road towards a marina near Ipswich.

Suffolk police will be escorting the abnormal load on Sunday and warned motorists of possible disruption.

The boat will be escorted from Oyster Yachts in Tunstead Road, Norwich, to Fox’s Marina, Wherstead, near Ipswich.

No specific time has yet been given for the journey.

However the route it will follow is: Local Roads - A1151 - A149 - B1152 - A1064 - A47 - A11 Wymondham - Wymondham St - Spooners Row - A11 - A1304 - A14 - A1308 - B1113 - Lorraine Way - Bramford Way - Sproughton Village - A1071 - A1214 - A14 - A137 - Local Roads to Site
