SUFFOLK Police has put in a top performance at this year's regional police dog trials.The team of Sergeant Jim Gall and his dog Bracken, and Pc Steve Vaughan and Kyzer, won the team trophy after both scoring more than 800 points at the trials, hosted by Cambridgeshire Police at RAF Alconbury.

The team of Sergeant Jim Gall and his dog Bracken, and Pc Steve Vaughan and Kyzer, won the team trophy after both scoring more than 800 points at the trials, hosted by Cambridgeshire Police at RAF Alconbury.
Sgt Gall and Bracken, who are based at Martlesham force headquarters, scored 836 points out of 1,000 to also come second in the individual competition and go on to represent the Eastern region in the national trials next month.
Lowestoft-based Pc Vaughan and Kyzer scored just one point less, to come third.
As well as winning the team trophy, Sgt Gall received the criminal work trophy and Pc Vaughan the obedience trophy.
