A Suffolk restaurant is celebrating today after it was selected in the top ten of a list of the best restaurants in Britain.
The Case Restaurant with Rooms in Assington, near Sudbury finished second in the coveted toptable.com Top Diner Rated awards.
The eatery was also selected as runner-up in the Best for Value catergory.
The awards are judged entirely on the ratings of the three million diners who booked and dined at one of toptable's 5,000 restaurants during 2009.
Toptable chief Karen Hanton said: “It's exciting to observe the development of chefs and restaurants.
“Last year's winner in the Hidden Gems category, The Case Restaurant with Rooms in Sudbury, was voted runner-up in both the Top Diner Rated and Best Value categories this year - well earned recognition for the advances they have achieved.”
