Suffolk road death victim named

THE 84-year-old man pronounced dead at the scene of a Suffolk road accident today was Alan Jack Revell.

Mr Revell, known as Jack, lived in St John's Road, Saxmundham.

THE 84-year-old man pronounced dead at the scene of a Suffolk road accident today was Alan Jack Revell.

Mr Revell, known as Jack, lived in St John's Road, Saxmundham.

Mr Revell was driving on the southbound carriageway of the A12 when his green Nissan Micra was involved in collision with a lorry at Kelsale.

Paramedics, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene around 8.30am.

The road remained closed until around 1.30pm.
