From orchids to ferns and floral rope making, the 2017 Suffolk Flower and Garden show has something for everyone, organisers say.

Nestled between the sports village and the wildlife area at this year’s Suffolk Show, the attraction – described as a mini Chelsea flower show by guests – has flower arranging workshops, a plant crèche and floral rope making sessions.

Fuchsia specialists the Potash Nursery, bosses of which have travelled to Trinity Park from Bacton near Stowmarket, recently won gold at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Their stall is a striking sea of pink and purple plants.

Roger Gladwell of Roger Gladwell Landscapes in Dennington, David Johnson of royal estates suppliers Barcham Trees in Ely and their teams have also put together a vibrant display of ericaceous plants.

Their arrangements include colourful rhododendrons with potted and pleached trees.

• Head over to stands 300 to 402 to see the show for yourselves.
