Suffolk Show 2018: Sunny spells in store for show after overnight thunderstorms

Be prepared for showers – but don’t worry about a total washout – that’s the advice from weather experts to visitors heading for the Suffolk Show.
The first day is expected to start quite wet, said meteorologist Adam Dury from Norwich-based Weatherquest.
But any rain – including that brought by thunderstorms overnight is expected to clear later this morning.
He said last night: “First thing there will be some showery rain, but I think the worst will have gone overnight.
“During the morning and into the afternoon these showers will be fewer and there could be some sun.”
Temperatures could reach the low 20s this afternoon.
On Thursday there is less of a chance of rain – but there could be a few heavy showers in the region and it was not out of the question that one could hit Trinity Park during the afternoon.
Again temperatures are likely to reach the low 20s – making it comfortable for show visitors.
