There is still time for people to nominate fundraisers, community champions and emergency service workers who have gone beyond the call of duty for this year’s Stars of Suffolk awards.
There are 14 categories in the 2014 awards, backed by the Ipswich Star and East Anglian Daily Times, including carer of the year and the bravery award.
Archant Suffolk editor-in-chief Terry Hunt said” “It is a brilliant event which recognises and celebrates the true heroes of our county.
“If you know someone, or an organisation, which really does go the extra mile to make a difference, then please nominate them.”
The deadline for people to make their nominations is Wednesday, October 8. The awards ceremony will take place in November.
