THE Sugababes are the latest stars to sign up for this summer's series of concerts in Thetford Forest.

With multi-million sales and sold out tours, the pop trio has become synonymous with imaginative, cutting edge and effervescent pop music.

Their recently released album Catfights and Spotlights features the smash hit Girls which continues on the success of the group's stash of classic pop singles like Push the Button, Round Round, Ugly, Change, Freak Like Me, Hole in the Head, Too Lost in You, About You Now, Stronger, In the Middle, Red Dress and Caught in a Moment.

A spokesman for the Forestry Commission said its series of summer concerts, which will this year also feature Paul Weller and Jools Holland, was designed to take woodlands to new audiences - making them relevant to people in new ways.

“The forest tour is self-sustaining, paying for itself, and providing valuable revenue to plough back into the woodland in a variety of environmental and social projects,” he said.

The Sugababes will perform at Thetford on Saturday, July 11.

Tickets, which cost 28.00 (subject to a booking fee), go on sale from 9.00am on Friday from ticket hotline on 01842 814612 or buy online at www.forestry.gov.uk/music
